Purely for the love of Pink Floyd.
Not your typical Pink Floyd visuals but my for my husband, this song resonates strongly. His family moved from Japan to Argentina, where he grew up not quite Porteño, not quite Japanese. He returned to Japan just before turning 20 and once again, he was not quite here nor there.
Latino and Japanese cultures are in essence diametrically opposed, so within himself he longs sometimes for the one, and sometimes for the other.
Also his aging parents have once more gone back to Argentina and the distance between is as far as one possibly can get in terms of travel.
Like all of us do from time to time, we wish you were here.
