Did you know 911 operators in more than 20 states don’t have to undergo training? The Denise Amber Lee case highlighted several issues in the 911 system in Florida. In April 2008, the state passed the Denise Amber Lee Act. The bill created statewide standards for training and certifying 911 operators.
