Journey is the United States rock music group formed in 1973 in San Francisco, California, from a former member of the Santana band. This group has experienced several changes in formation. The peak of commercial success took place from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. While at the peak of success, Journey produced a series of rock songs and power ballads, including "Don't Stop Believin", "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)", "Faithfully", "Any Way You Want It", "Open Arms", "Stone in Love", "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'", and "Lights". When holding a reunion in the early 1990s, Journey was also successful with the hit song "When You Love a Woman" which was nominated as the winner of Grammy. Sales of their albums have produced two gold albums, eight multiplatina albums, and one Intan dish album (including 7 successive multiplatina albums between 1978 and 1987). Until now Journey has succeeded in placing 19 Top 40 singles, six of them up to the top 10 Billboard Hot 100 charts. The most typical song from Journey, "Don't Stop Believin'" has sold more than three million copies which at the same time made it a catalog song (song from the Pradigital Era) best in the history of iTunes.
