Girl Trouble share the same story as with many Seattle rock bands around the late 80's. They released several 7" singles, and EP's but never really took off despite appearing on the big Sub Pop 200 compilation whch solidified the Grunge sound and set the stage for the hype that would ensue in 1992. The compilation consisted of mostly Seattle based bands and featured what would become multi-platinum selling artists like Nirvana and Soundgarden, and lesser known but highly influential acts like Mudhoney and Screaming Trees also made a contribution to the record.
