Sky News host James Macpherson has reacted to Justin Trudeau’s tearful performance during a press conference.

Canada’s outgoing PM was on the “verge of tears” over the weekend when he addressed the media during one of his final engagements as leader of the country.

“The only person crying for Trudeau is Trudeau, but if his deputy Chrystia Freeland is chosen to replace him … Canadians may end up missing Trudeau,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Wouldn’t that be a remarkable thing?”
