KongGukSu (Soybean Cream Cold Noodles) is one of the three must-eat-in-the-summer-food in Korea along with Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup) and Naengmyeon (Korean Cold Noodle Soup). Some people add nuts or sugar as well but we like the pure black bean flavor seasoned with sea salt. Sometimes less is more. You can make it with yellow soybeans which is a more common version but we like black soybean's deeper and richer taste.
