On Sunday 10 June 2018 to mark the closing of Colston Hall's 1951 auditorium, Limbic Cinema created an immersive installation that used the hall’s 1951 architecture as a grand canvas to tell its own colourful story.

From the masterful trumpeting of Miles Davis to the thundering riffs of Led Zeppelin and the full symphonic power of the world’s greatest orchestras, Colston Hall’s auditorium has witnessed the full range of human emotion.

This film gives a taste of the epic twenty five minute experience that celebrated the life and times of Colston Hall and unveiled the tales of our past, as well as glimpsing ahead into our future.
