Mark Westwood is a guitarist, engineer and producer who owns BlackTree Recording Studios based in deepest, darkest, rural Worcestershire.
He engineered, mixed and mastered the RAIN albums ‘Singularity’ and ‘Radio Silence.
As a guitar played he has played with Clive Nolan in his Shadowlands project and in Caamora, played guitar in NEO alongside Andy Edwards and John Jowitt and worked behind the scenes with IQ for a number of years.
In this interview Andy and Mark talk about making the two RAIN albums and how modern digital recording techniques have ruined modern ensemble production and how that has affected the prog genre.
