Alternate take of this killer klassic from Abilene, Texas!!
From "The Cicadelic 60’s (Volume Two) - Never Existed!" This is a different version than the two Askel and UMI singles, and also than the unreleased "Come Back Bird (Take 2)" on "The Abilene Teen Scene 1964-1967".
Written by Jack Chisholm and Tommy Nixon.
Should date from 1965.
By the time of this recording, The Chevelle V were Tommy Nixon (bass guitar and vocals), Don Nicholas (vocals), Jack Chisholm (lead guitar), Charlie Taylor (drums) and Bobby Vannoy (rhythm guitar).
