Russia in the early twentieth century. Terrorists plot to assassinate prominent statesmen. Their main goal is the assassination of Grand Duke of Russia. The assassination attempt is being prepared by members of the Militant Organization, led by its leader Georges. The process of organizing a terrorist attack reveals the psyche, feelings, and aspirations of terrorists, each one having different reasons for doing what they do. The assassination attempts fail one after another, and almost all of its organizers get killed. Survivor Georges suddenly realizes that the assassination of Grand Duke of Russia has become the sole purpose of his life, and he will go to any lengths to carry out his plan. He commits a daring murder but ends up being disappointed.
