Because before Kirkfell, there was Hillcroft.
We were gifted Hillcroft by Susanna, a dear friend, and it was meant to be our forever home. But our dream was shattered when a local farmer unlawfully cut off her access by destroying the track that led across his land — the only way to reach the house. What was once a place full of hope became unreachable, left isolated and broken by an act we never imagined possible.
But from that devastation came this unexpected miracle.
Kirkfell rests on 3 acres of peace and promise. It has its own vegetable gardens, a blossoming orchard, and a bore-hole watering system that breathes life into the land. A historic stone byre still holds its original 18th-century cobbled floor, quietly echoing the past. And all around us, whisky country stretches to the horizon — legendary distilleries tucked between hills and history.
This is our first look inside our new home, and the beginning of a new chapter we never saw coming — but one we’re profoundly grateful for.
Come step inside Kirkfell for the very first time. Witness the beauty. Feel the journey. This is where healing begins.
