This takes DIY to another level. Instead of just sticking panels on the wall, this guy starts by prepping insulation boards and mixing bonding paste until it’s just right. He installs high-density polystyrene below ground to resist dampness. Then, by cutting the edges at a 45° angle, he secures the fiberglass mesh seamlessly—this not only blocks out dirt but also stops future cracks. After adding two protective waterproof layers, he even takes a moment to patch up his neighbor’s lawn. So in the end, he didn’t just insulate his house—he earned some serious neighbor points too.
