At only 19 years old, British R&B singer Craig David achieved worldwide attention when he reached the top of the U.K. charts during the summer of 2000, becoming one of the youngest British male solo artists to achieve the feat. He also garnered mainstream U.S. acceptance, as well as earning platinum sales in several countries. But as quickly as he became a superstar, things started going downhill. He became a laughing stock, courtesy of a comedy sketch using his likeness, each album he released did worse than the last and he struggled with his mental health. To get back on track, he knew he needed to make some major changes in his life before it was too late.
