This special session features Dominican electronic artist Boundary, blending nostalgic textures with futuristic rhythms. Born from a creative alliance between two friends with deep mutual respect, this project merges Boundary’s atmospheric soundscapes with LEBLANCSTUDIOS’ visual world. A Caribbean fashion brand redefining identity and reimagining historical narratives through graphic culture. Together, they create a sensorial experience against the natural beauty of Las Terrenas.
Boundary is the moniker of Josué Suero, an experimental electronic producer from the Dominican Republic and a member of the Lazystep Collective. He began making music at just 15 years old, and his sound has evolved into something both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Drawing from early Detroit techno, UK & Japanese ambient house/leftfield techno, Boundary weaves immaculate drum programming, wandering basslines, and ethereal pads into textured, vaporous atmospheres that evoke hazy memories of a distant past.
Described by Pitchfork as "the Dominican Republic’s Leftfield Techno Prodigy," Suero has become a key figure in the Caribbean’s underground electronic scene. His 2017 album Fantasmagórico is seen as a landmark in modern Dominican electronic music. He continues to push his sound with his latest album Óxido en el Espejo (2024), and a steady stream of 12" records on labels like Secret Sundaze, Third Try Records, with an upcoming 12” this year with the Berlin-based Brutaz.
