This week at Kirkfell, the sun is shining and there’s a tangible sense of progress in the air! ☀️🌿

Katie dives into preparing our Georgian-inspired cottage garden for its wildflower transformation — a gentle, hopeful project full of colour and life. 🌼🌸 With trowel in hand and ideas in full bloom, she’s determined to make this space a floral haven.

Meanwhile, Scott finally gets his hands on the new Bosch table saw so kindly gifted by our wonderful patron, Leslie. But things don’t quite go to plan… missing screws, a faulty stand, and a moment of DIY despair mean the saw gets its debut in a rather unconventional way! 🧰🤦‍♂️

Katie is beaming as the plumber arrives to begin work on her long-awaited new bath. 🚿🛁 There's laughter, a few loud bangs, and even the removal of an old “gun cupboard” to make way for a new era of comfort and calm in the downstairs bathroom.

And in the heartwarming corner of the episode: Kirk, our newest feline family member, truly begins to make this cottage his home. 🐾🐈‍⬛ He finds new spots to nap, new people to charm, and becomes a little ray of mischief and joy in our lives.
