
Don’t overthink this! There are no questions OCD asks that ever need to be answered. If OCD is asking the question, you know it’s a trap. OCD doesn’t ask logical or helpful questions—it only asks questions that lead you into a spiral of fear and anxiety.
How do you know if the question is coming from you or your OCD? If you find yourself stuck in a loop of trying to get rid of the question through mental rituals, “figuring it out” compulsions, asking for reassurance, or other compulsive patterns, that’s OCD talking! Choose to let it go.
