Did you know Earth has “Quasi-moons”? China just launched a rocket to go visit one. These “quasi-moons” are asteroids that appear to be orbiting us, but are really orbiting the sun in almost the exact same way we are! The one humans are going to visit is just 12 times further from earth than the moon and about 40 to 100 meters wide.
One of the big goals is to figure out where this asteroid came from. We think it got blasted off our moon... but we’re not sure!
So once the probe gets there, here's what it's going to do...
