In the Yellow River Source area of Sanjiangyuan National Park, northwestern China, an ecological ranger captured footage of two wolves feeding on a Tibetan wild ass's carcass. The animal had been hunted by a wolf pack, and most of the wolves had already left after feasting. As the core area of Sanjiangyuan, this region is home to herbivores such as Tibetan wild asses and white-lipped deer. With continuous conservation efforts, the population of Tibetan wild asses has been growing rapidly. The park has also seen frequent wolf pack activity, with the largest group containing over 10 wolves.
