For their second release on Industrial Strength Records this time Edinburgh based duo Scottish Gabber Punk showcase 'Original and Best'. Unlike its namesake the songs are not such but they are a nod to the Scottish and Indian culture of Jamie and Rumana and in true SGP fashion are full of hardcore energy and obnoxious kicks. 'Original Gabber Punk' combines desi bhangra and jungle to produce a Gabber Punk take on two iconic genres and eras. 'Peaceful Protest Doesn't Work' is a lament to injustices on those who suffer by the hands of the system. And finally a cover of Rage Against The Machine's iconic and timeless 'Killing In The Name' encompasses the entire ethos of the band and their take is full of even more rage and heavy kicks. Wrapping up the EP with remixes from artists MUTILATOR and Faster, this EP takes hardcore to the next level
