Song Information:
After recording a portion of the song on his VCR, DJ Quik dabbles around with “Thoda Resham Lagta Hai” to dazzling effect (even though the whole concept was apparently ripped off.) He initially, gave the song to MC Lyte but reneged when Truth Hurts asked to hear the song and told Dr. Dre, she wanted the beat. The song also involves a rich sample by BT Express, some of the few Aftermath verses by Rakim, and Static Major writing the hook and Truth’s verses. Dr. Dre failed to clear the Hindu sample which lead to a 500-million-dollar lawsuit after they ignored cease-and-desist letters.
