So many people can relate to that feeling of aloneness, I'm just waiting to bleed out in my pain. But this song is a call to see the ways in which we are complicit in our own aloneness. Are we waiting to be saved? Because if we are saved, it makes us feel more worthy? Or are we in a victim position where it relieves us from the responsibility of having to do anything to deal with our pain? If we can relate to the wandering of this song, it's a call to come closer, to be the one to do the reaching, instead of waiting to be rescued or bleed out.
