We don't know their back stories. One may was getting home one day when he saw a boy with his dog. He went to give the boy some money but he didn't take it.
Instead, he walked away and didn't say a thing. The next day, he saw the same homeless boy again. And the day after that. One day, he saw the same boy looking distraught calling someone's name, his dog had gone missing.
Despite some fear of the homeless man, the man went to help find his dog. His dog had ran away after a security guard chase them away.
Thankfully the dog was found safe not too far away. He took them both back home and gave the dog some food. He was happy to finally have a proper meal. The homeless man was kicked out by family when he was 17 but due to how dirty he looked, he kept failing to find a job.
The man kindly provided him a change of clothes and encouraged him to try again so he can provide a better life for his dog knowing how much he cares for the puppy.
