Housed in a reused slide case is eight individual square-wave oscillators triggered by a built-in eight-step sequencer, as well as a stepped-tone generator that can drone or flash in sync. A sweepable low-pass filter allows the high-end to be rolled off. Individual volume controls for the eight oscillators and the stepped-tone generator let you blend the sound of each.
Be aware this is not tuned to any traditional notes. The pitch controls sweep through a range of frequencies. This device has some very subtle yet enjoyable crosstalk and each oscillator has a very small difference in range.
This will run off either an included 9-volt battery or an also included wall adapter. Output via a standard 1/4" jack. The old metal case is extremely durable regardless of a few cometic imperfections.
