What a number to end our fourth album on. When Patrice from SWMS showed us Jmaxfield, we were so impressed. To now have a track of his on our releases is a pleasure. The sample is from George Benson’s ‘The Changing World’ which a trained Hip-Hop ear might recognise from Common’s ‘I Used To Love H.E.R.’. The instrumental colourfulness of this track is sure to put a smile on your face…and make you bop your head all at the same time! The slow tempo makes for a mellowed out goodbye from Loose Lips Album #4.
Jared started using turntables at the age of 15, mostly mixing drum and bass. This quickly progressed into Hip Hop DJing and connected productions. Soon after he had a track accepted onto the ‘Pure Dopeness’ beat tape series and formed the ‘Aristocrats’ collective. It is no surprise that he has now progressed onto supporting artists such as the Four Owls, Split Prophets and the Mouse Outfit across the country. The second Aristocrats EP ‘Manorisms’ is due to drop over the coming months. As well as providing instrumentals for my own collective, Jared is very much a democrat with his beats being used by rappers all over the country!
