and the club is not free of it
Today with this set I intend to remind you
that clubs were not born just to evade reality,
but to resist it. To bring us together
and sustain us
Let's use the local, national,
and international spaces we have access to,
as DJs and artists, to give voice
to those siblings who have had it taken away
Let's start locally. Let's build community
and strengthen the links that are getting weaker
Let's continue with the dance and collective struggle:
today for Palestine, tomorrow for Sudan,
in the past for a Europe free of complicit silence
and imperialism
Today we dance, yes,
but we dance with rage and strength,
so that the earth rumbles,
so much so that their hate collapses
To create is to resist, to unite is to fight.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
