Today I visit Klong Toey, often referred to as a "slum" or portrayed as a dangerous neighborhood. Klong Toey is Thailand's largest slum area by title, however, if you go to Klong Toey and interact with the locals, you will see the overwhelming friendliness of the people within. This Bangkok neighborhood is one of my favorites to visit, today I explore Klong Toey and discuss the threats of change that are in progress and try to get a feel for how the people of Bangkok's most diverse and vibrant neighbourhood are living.
