The musical The Phantom of the Opera is the most successful musical of all time. It is also the musical that ran the longest and uninterrupted on Broadway in New York.

Even as a child I was fascinated by The Phantom of the Opera. What I really like most is the beginning, the overture. That is probably the part that everyone associates with The Phantom of the Opera.

Of course it was obvious to me that I would produce a cover of it. It is a short guitar cover. I converted the vocal track into a guitar solo. So as always it is purely instrumental, an instrumental cover.

My costume, well, is not really the Phantom's costume. I improvised a little.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius, he has won every film and music award there is. A musical genius that this cover does not do justice to. It is more of a small call to arms and to show that Andrew Lloyd Webber is still important as a composer and I hope that there will be more to come from him.
