here's a track created with a hybrid setup, using the akai 3000xl and reason 12. Reason 12 is doing all of the sequencing, along with some sounds from europa synth and nnxt. Ozone elements and a few different rack extensions used for some basic mastering. reverbs and delay are from the akai, valhalla dsp, and reason rv 7000.

I've uploaded a handful of samples, including the s3000xl apache break program and 11 four-bar break phrases in MIDI format... oh, and the apache break REX file. If anyone is curious, this version of the apache is from Young MC's "Know How".
