Formed in 1990 out of Jessheim Norway, ANTESTOR started out as a Death/Doom Metal band. But in 1998 they began going into a more extreme and satanic influenced Black Metal sound. This created a firestorm in the Black Metal scene, because ANTESTOR is a Christian band. Their (un)black metal sound would be used to glorify Jesus Christ.

In 2013 and on tour for their fourth studio album, a black metal/Anti-Christian mob formed in Brazil and it took police and 30 security guards, at one point firing shots into the air, to settle the mob down as police escorted the band members from the venue.

Off their 2012 release OMEN, this is TREACHEROUS DOMAIN.
