The Prince of Darkness, who was renowned for his revolutionary contributions to heavy metal as a solo artist and as the leader of Black Sabbath, eventually watched the memorial concerts from a throne because of his chronic health issues. But according to guitarist Zakk Wylde, Osbourne did sing during the dress rehearsal, displaying a hint of the iconic performance that fans have come to adore.
