Over the past 80 years, the United States has carried out bombings across nearly every continent — and some of the names on the list might surprise you.

👉 In Central America, targets included Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador, Grenada, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba.
👉 In Africa, Somalia, Libya, and Sudan were hit.
👉 In Europe, the U.S. bombed parts of former Yugoslavia: Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Montenegro.
👉 In the Middle East, American bombers struck Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
👉 In Asia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and even China were affected.

While mainland China was never directly attacked, the U.S. bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade during the Yugoslav conflict technically makes China part of the list.

These are all the countries that the U.S. has bombed in the last 80 years — and yes, China is among them.
In Central America, the U.S. bombed Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador, Grenada, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba.
Moving across the Atlantic, only Somalia, Libya, and Sudan were bombed in Africa. In Europe, several former Yugoslav countries were targeted: Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Montenegro.
Now comes the Middle East, where the U.S. was very active: Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
Moving east, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and China were all bombed. Although mainland China was never directly hit, during the bombing of Yugoslavia, U.S. bombs struck the Chinese embassy — so technically, the U.S. also bombed China.
