It is an uncomfortable fact that despite serving their country, many veterans face homelessness, poverty, and mental health challenges. 

Now, a B.C. organization aims to give them a better chance by bringing Canadian military heroes together with top barbers and stylists for makeovers with meaning.

And one soldier has a message for struggling vets: don't be afraid to ask for help.
