The southern film industry woke up to devastating news on Wednesday. Popular actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away due to lung-related ailment.
According to reports, Vidyasagar was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. Following his death, several Southern celebrities such as superstar Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar, Khushbu Sundar, and Venkatesh Daggubati expressed condolences.

Meena, who is widely known across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada industries, married the Bengaluru-based businessman in 2009. Vidyasagar is survived by his wife Meena and their daughter Nainika.
