In this video, I demonstrate how to build a clap switch circuit that can control a 220V AC appliance like a 100W bulb using a relay. The circuit uses simple and easily available components, including BC547 transistors, a microphone sensor, and a relay driver.

Modifications I made to the original circuit:
– Used a 220μF capacitor instead of 100μF (to increase pulse duration)
– Used a 1MΩ resistor instead of 470kΩ (to increase sensitivity)
– Used a 1kΩ resistor instead of 2.2kΩ (to improve base current)
– Connected an auto player LED series with an extra red LED and 22Ω resistor
– Added a relay driver circuit using a BC547 transistor to control the 220V bulb
– Connected a flyback diode (1N4007) across the relay coil to protect the transistor

When you clap near the microphone, the circuit detects the sound and turns ON the LEDs and the relay. This relay can safely switch a 220V AC 100W bulb or other appliances.

Components used:
– Microphone sensor
– BC547 transistors (x3)
– Resistors: 1kΩ, 220Ω, 22Ω, 1MΩ
– Capacitor: 220μF
– LED (x2)
– Relay (5V or 9V, 10A contacts)
– 1N4007 diode
– Power supply: 5V to 9V DC

Warning: Always be careful when working with 220V AC — use proper insulation and safety measures.
