Clark Kent, staying temporarily in Metropolis, sees the breaking news and immediately suits up as Superman 🦸‍💨. At the same time, Kara Danvers watches the same coverage and transforms into Supergirl, flying into action 🦸‍⚡.

Supergirl is the first to reach the doomed shuttle, grabbing the nose of the falling spacecraft, straining to slow it down 💪💥. Together, the Kryptonian cousins successfully stabilize the Venture and prevent a catastrophic crash, saving countless lives 👏🌟.

Later, Kara brings Clark to CatCo to investigate the cause of the explosion. Unexpectedly, Cat Grant recognizes Clark and greets him with overwhelming enthusiasm 😍💼. It turns out the two share a romantic past, and Cat is still hopelessly infatuated with the Man of Steel 💘.
