Here is a small piece composed as part of the contest proposed by the fantastic @Austin Wintory.The goal was to create a piece from a single melody composed by Austin. Doing a doctoral thesis on the importance of thematic elements in music, and appreciating Austin’s work, I wanted to try this and here is the result with a small video. My use of themes in my music is very structural, they are the ones that allow to organize the music according to me, and I hope to have demonstrated a little how through this video. We had full freedom to do this, whether harmonically, rhythmically. We had about three weeks to compose the music, I admit I had a lot of fun doing it! The piece is called: "Bolero of two wooded hearts"
