There are two challenges for you as you hear these 10 thrash metal riffs:
- Write riffs that don't sound the same using the same key.
- Make your riffs more creative and captivating

We're in standard tuning and all of these riffs are in the key of E minor.

We encourage you to write riffs in different keys. However, as mentioned above, one of the purposes of the challenges was to see if we could come up with riffs in the same key that sound different (in Metal Riff Master, you'll be playing in several different keys).
