Four years ago on this very Monday, supporters of U.S. president-elect Donald Trump stormed Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., nearly shattering American democracy, as President Joe Biden prepared to enter office.

Now, as Trump prepares to make his return to the Oval Office, Congress has certified the Republican leader’s victory, making for a peaceful transition of power.
