These are all the countries in the world that have bases in Antarctica. The only country in the African continent is South Africa, which makes sense due to its proximity. But in Europe, almost every country has a base there. Moving west to America, we add the United States, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile. Travelling to Asia there are not so many lucky countries to have this. Among those who have are Pakistan, India, China, South Korea and Japan. Lastly, Both Australia and New Zealand have a base in Antarctica, as they are among the closest countries to this ice-covered continent.
