Vostok
A class of single-pilot manned spacecraft built by the Soviet Union. The Vostok program was the Soviet Union's first manned spaceflight program and included the historic flight of Yuri Gagarin aboard Vostok 1 in 1961. Gagarin became the first human to achieve orbital velocity and complete a full orbit around the Earth.
