That day, he came back to visit an elderly man he had helped before. He waited hours because they were out selling vegetables. They went out at 4am, because they have to walk hours to get there.
But they only made $10 that day and were about to split a bun for lunch. They are grandfather and grandchild. Since his wife died, he had been taking care of their grandchild alone. Who has a disability of the mind and can't tell $100 from $10 bill so often got scammed.
The kind man taught him to recognize the $100 bill at least. And he happily accepted the bill.
The man came with gifts and even gave them both $100 each. The old man tried to decline despite the fact that they really needed it. The gesture from the stranger moved him to tears. It's been hard but it's kind people like this who truly made a difference.
