In February 2017 the English and Media Faculty took students on a Media trip to New York! They visited the usual tourist attractions such as the Statue of Liberty, went up to the top of the Empire State Building, strolled through Central Park and shopped in Times Square! But they also experienced many other once in a life time opportunities such as visited the 9/11 site and had a question and answer session with a survivor. They had a backstage tour of the NBC Studios- on the same day Ed Sheeran was there ready to perform! We went to the New York Film Academy and had an acting lesson as well as watched the pros performing in Aladdin on Broadway!
The students and staff had an amazing time and we hope to repeat this trip in the future!
