A cryptic social media post featuring their eagle logo alongside the English and Welsh flags has sparked speculation, directing fans to their official website for exclusive updates. If confirmed, these would be Slayer’s first UK headline performances in seven years, following their Final World Tour.
The band initially retired in 2019 after a farewell tour, but guitarist Kerry King later admitted he felt the decision was premature. Despite their limited return, Slayer has already confirmed appearances at major festivals, including a rescheduled Louder Than Life show in 2025 and their first Canadian concert in six years at FEQ. However, King has cautioned fans not to expect this to become an annual event.
In addition to Slayer’s highly anticipated shows, Kerry King will also be touring with his solo band in 2025, with headline dates across Europe, including the UK, this August.
