By now you may have either heard about, or seen for yourself, the smoke covering parts of the East Coast of the US. Most of it is coming from recent forest fires in Quebec. So what does this mean for the millions of people affected by the smoke? And big picture, what are we doing to prevent wildfires?

You already know that climate change is increasing wildfires, so the most important thing we can do is fight that. Here are two additional efforts to fight wildfires specifically - and what you can do in the meantime.
