This is the process of printing vinyl records. It begins with a base material consisting of PVC and additives. The mixture is then heated and formed into a solid, round piece of dough called a "biscuit." Next, the biscuit, along with the label and master disc, is fed into a hydraulic press. This is where the sound is printed. Using high pressure and heat, the machine forms microgrooves that physically record the sound waves. Once the pressing process is complete, the disc cools and is cut and trimmed until it is ready to play on a turntable.
