To save money, a lot of Android TV boxes do not come equipped with a power button. However a power button can come in useful from time to time, especially to avoid having to switch your device off at the wall every time you want don't want your room glowing a fluorescent colour on account of those LED lights on the front (annoying right?). Well in today's tutorial we are going to show you how to install a simple power button onto a TV box that doesn't come equipped with one.

Items Needed

Power Button 'push to break switch' - Very cheap on ebay/amazon

Screwdriver

Pliers

Cable 'wiring'

Heat shrink 'ideal for keeping cables tidy'

Dremel 'not totally necessary'

Soldering iron and solder

My soldering is not the best so please excuse the messy wiring
