🏡In this video, I will prepare several simple everyday dishes from seasonal vegetables: stuffed eggplant tongues, tomato and basil salad, as well as baked potatoes that melt in your mouth.
While it is raining outside, it is time to bake delicious homemade cookies in old-fashioned molds, cook lemon jam, make lemon liqueur Limoncello and fill the house with aromas that create a unique and cozy atmosphere.
🍋🍋🍋Recipe for Italian liqueur "Limoncello"
10 lemons,
1 liter of 95-96% alcohol,
1 kg of sugar,
1.5 liters of water
Wash the lemons thoroughly (preferably homemade, unprocessed).
Remove the zest from the lemons as thinly as possible, pour in 1 liter of alcohol and leave to infuse for 7-10 days in a dark place. Shake the tincture daily.
After 7-10 days, strain the alcohol tincture. Boil syrup from 1 kg of sugar and 1.5 liters of water. Cool the syrup and pour it into the lemon tincture. Stir, the color should be cloudy lemon.
Pour the limoncello into bottles and leave to infuse in a dark place for 1 month. Then store in the refrigerator or freezer for longer storage.
P.S. If you don't have 96% alcohol, you can use vodka:
1 liter of vodka,
500 g of sugar,
750 ml of water.
But they say the taste is a little different.
🍆🍆🍆Eggplant rolls stuffed with cheese, herbs and garlic
Eggplants 5 pcs.
Cream cheese 300 g,
parsley, basil to taste,
1-2 cloves of garlic
Cut the eggplants lengthwise into thin slices. Salt on both sides and grease with vegetable oil. Let stand for 30 minutes. Blot off excess moisture (juice).
Fry in a minimum amount of oil, place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Filling: mix 300 g of cream cheese with grated garlic and finely chopped herbs. Mix well.
Put the filling on the edge of the eggplant and roll into a roll. You can cool it a little in the refrigerator and decorate with herbs on top.

Cookies in an old-fashioned mold. You can use a waffle iron.
Sour cream 250 grams,
Butter 125 grams,
Sugar -100 grams,
Eggs 2 pcs,
Baking powder, 1 teaspoon,
Flour -250-300 grams the dough should not be very steep.
Beat the eggs with sugar, add sour cream + baking powder. Stir. Melt the butter and add to the egg mixture.
Gradually add flour. The dough should not be very thick.
In the video, I put 300 grams, this is too much, 250 grams would be great. Focus on your flour.
Put in a preheated mold and bake on both sides over medium heat.
I have seen such forms sold on eBay or Amazon, they are called vintage Soviet (Russian) forms for baking cookies on gas.
