The battle in the cave was chaos.
Now, only Kainan, Freya, and Wulfric remain — bloodied, exhausted… hunted.
They burst out onto the cliff’s edge.
The roar comes again. Moorwen.
It lunges — teeth flashing — and tears into Wulfric before retreating into the waterfall cave. 💦🐉
Kainan doesn’t hesitate. Sword in hand, he charges into the shimmering curtain of water.
But the monster is waiting.
A blur of claws knocks him to the ground.
Pain. Stone. The sound of his own breath.
He grips the sword again.
Then — in the steel’s reflection — a faint red glow. Eyes.
He rolls aside as the beast strikes.
One swift turn — the blade cuts deep.
The Moorwen stumbles toward the cliff’s edge… but in one last desperate act, it latches onto Kainan’s wrist.
No hesitation.
Kainan raises the sword and brings it down — severing its arm.
The creature plunges into the abyss, its roar fading into the storm below. ⚡🌊🔥
