In this video, we have a full review of the Capital One Venture X. This card is considered one of the best travel credit cards on the market, but is the Venture X card worth paying the $395 annual fee? Despite getting denied for this credit card TWICE, my wife added me as an authorized user on her Venture X last year. We have been experiencing the Capital One ecosystem together since August 2023.

The Venture X card has great benefits including a valuable sign up bonus and annual credits that outweigh the annual fee which include a $300 travel credit and 10,000 mile anniversary miles worth at least $100. Spending multipliers like 10x miles on hotels and car rentals and 5x miles on flights booked through the Capital One Travel Portal, and 2x miles on everything else make it a great travel and catch all credit card.

The Venture X is not perfect though because I’ve found a few things about this card a bit disappointing. Recent changes to this credit card have devalued some of its benefits, plus there’s a lack of good hotel transfer partners and very few Capital One airport lounges at the moment as well.

Overall, the Capital One Venture X is a great travel credit card for the price you pay. Many people who travel a moderate amount will be able to easily justify the annual fee and get value from it.
