Kyle Smith is part of the new generation of triathletes. At just 25 years old, the New Zealander has a promising future ahead of him. However, the talent pool is rising quickly and, after showing potential early, Kyle was unable to back it up in 2022 with just one podium to his name at Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote back in March.

His passion is undoubted and his relationship with one of the greatest triathletes of all-time, Jan Frodeno, will put him in a good position to break into the top 10 in the world. But it's time to step up. It's time for Kyle to turn that passion into glory.
